The Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism Board’s Uncommon Potential website went live at the HNL Lookout! Tourism Summit in Gander. The website (www.uncommonpotential.com) will serve as the Tourism Board’s primary communication tool for the Board to inform Industry of ongoing progress on Vision 2020, provide industry with a comprehensive database of information, resources and tools and lead by example of embracing technology.

TourismTechnology.com, a strategic partnership between the Tourism Atlantic branch of ACOA, the Atlantic Provincial tourism industry associations, and the Atlantic Provincial tourism departments has recently signed on for another three year commitment to enhance technology application and provide training for tourism operators. One-on-one mentoring sessions are available and interest has increased significantly in 2009-2010 in response to changes in the way travelers research and book their travel.
